does anyone know of anywhere I can get silver eyelids???

 

make em i dont know anywhere that makes them, the few people that have them on here have made them

 

yea if you dont care that much you can just vinyl.. but if you want it fabricated its not that easy.. i have asked couple of shops to do it.. they all refused..

 

just get some vinyl, lay it down, tape off some guidelines and cut

The only other option other than laying vinyl, would to buy some flat black plastic ones from ebay, and prime and paint them silver. You can get 94-97 accord eyelids, but you'd have to cut them, and modify them to fit. Then you could paint them. OR like they said, just get some vinyl, and paint it. and attach it to the light.

 

what color its your car? goto a sign shop and get the closest colored vinyl to your car. then put em on and cut. i got lids on my car and thats how i did it. luckily my cars black.

You can do it yourself and be able to modify it yourself!! It's really easy!!

I can take some pics, all you have to do is trim them down, and make them fit.

hey nato, get yourself a dremel kit, you will find that the words "DIY" and "custom" aren't as scary and intimidating, atleast thats what happened to me when i got one... im making all sorts of stuff myself now, lol

with a dremel kit, youc an easily modify the eyelids... plus they're cool to use too lol, only $60 for a decent/semi-good one

 

if you do that, and put them on your car first, be careful not to cut up your headlights

 

I have eye lids. Stopped by auto zone and bought a windshield decal. Cut out of the black decal and *tada*. Doesnt look bad. Ill have pics tomorrow if it doesnt pour.

not bad i guess.. but i dont like the vinyl... i like the actual piece.. i think it looks better.. maybe its just me

 

I like the actual piece too, mine are molded carbon fiber, not crazy about the vinyl. But to each his own. Like the headlights, what kind are those?

Car will be at the tranny shop for the next week, and then i'll put the eyelids back on. I took them off when I was painting my bumper. I will put them back on and post pics after I get my new tranny
