Should I replace my whole muffler system or just exhaust every time I either rev the vehicle or move the car in general I hear the the vibrations of the vehicle and can someone recommend a quiet muffler and not anything to loud I don’t want to sound like a motorcycle going down the road, also does magnaflow make good mufflers for these cars?

 

the proper way is to find the source of the vibration and fix it.

instead of buying random parts that may or may not fix the vibration..
also, magnaflow is a brand. they sell universal mufflers and resonators.

 

Agreed with what Justin mentioned, finding the vibration is the first step. Mine was the heatshield around the stock cat. My buddy tied mine up with a metal hanger, and eventually we ended up just removing it. I did opt to go for a full headers back exhaust, replacing the headers, catalytic converter, custom piping and a new muffler, which definitely helped with performance and woke my 3.0 up quite a bit.

As for mufflers, most members on here did Magnaflow and were very happy with the sound and performance.

 

My stock exhaust was rusted and full of holes/leaks. Had the local muffler shop make a whole new system from the cat back. They used generic pipes and a generic muffler. Quiet and smooth now!
