I had the same problem, before I upgraded my system, and put REAL bass in my car. I dynomatted the door panels, the trunk lid, and under the deck where the 6x9's are. Get 3 or 4 cans of dynomat, and no more rattles.

I had that problem too. It resonates at certain frequencys. If you have the ability to adjust the bass like 40-160 herts? (or whatever it is) then it helps. You can still have lots of bass, but at a higher or lower frequency. Mine seemed to rattle at 160, but then I lowered it to 40 and it doesn't rattle.

That's a good fix if you're keeping your stock system. If you plan on doing audio upgrades of any kind, including changing internal speakers, or putting subs in your car, do the dynomat, it helps the cl a lot, by sound proofing.

my speaker grills vibrated pretty bad, so i took them off and used clear cilicone to reinstall them, and no more rattle.. especially with my arm rest access hole closed. my subs would push the bose in the rear up and make them pop.

AHHAAH same damn problem, i put my whole system in the car lit it up and omg it sounded so bad all the noise was just awful. So i broke down and dynomated the hole damn car from the door panels rear panels, full trunk, and that freakin piece of carpet where the 6x9's are. its like 1/4 inch mdf board with carpet on top, so when ever the bass hit that mdf would vibrate agaist the metal. i dynomated that also. Now i got crisp sound for 150$ and like 6 hours labour.

Also behide the rear licence plate there is 2 peices of the bumper the touch each other just put some foam tape or dynomat it like i did and then the out side of the car will even sound good :d
