I'm in that boat. I was this close to trading my 98 3.0(67K) for a 94 Legend LS coupe(72K) in champange...love that color. This was at Carmax. Of course my CL was worth less than the Legend and I would have negative equity. But the payments would be less than my current payment and lower interest rate.

I just like the Legend II with the Type II 3.2 engine. That car, for being four years older, still has more options and power and class than both gen CL's. It's just hard to find the right one that has been taken care of and with low miles. I would never trade my CL in for Legend with more than 100K on it.

Yeah, I'd have to go with a Legend coupe 6 speed with as low a miles I can find. Thats what I wanted to get originally but the CL was a better deal.

You have a lot of choices....as the heyday of turbo cars was in the early to middle 90s...there are a lot of sports cars that you can buy for that price. Supras, RX7s, 300zx,3000gtVR4, Diamondstar 4g63, Mr2turbo. Those are just factory Jap turbo cars....basically, for 15k you can have almost any car...used.

doh, you got me though i would be sketchy about those cars at that price.
If i got a 2nd gen it would have to be 6spd or no dice.

cls 6spd would be awesome but for 15k, that would be a high mileage or jacked up car.
