Today, I went to a local shop to install my reverse indiglo gauges that i had ordered from procarparts.com (Honda 94-97 Ex ones) and the guy said they fit but there is wire sticking out? And then he said he didnt want to do it cause it would be messed up

no, they will be fine......
you are just going to have to do them yourself. when you do it just be really careful not to break the needles like i did. while putting them on, slide them over the needle, and gently get it into position. if you force it you WILL break the needle, and have to run to acura and get the new ones, which will run you about 50 for each(air and fuel). just take your dash out, and play with it a little, with due time, youll figure out how they fit. and there wont be any wires or any of that sticking out.

Why would you have someone install this????? This is one of the easiest mod's you can do yourself!!! When I put mine in it only took me an hour tops!!! I got all the directions from a post and was really helpful. Just take your time and not break the needles though.
