I have just pruchased a 98 CL 3.0, 86,000miles. I thought that this was a very reliable trouble free car. However, I am having some problems.
1.) The check engine light is on. I took it to the local shop. He said that ERG valve is dirty. He cleaned it. The light is back on.
I though I read somewhere that this ERG has a extended warranty. The local Acura dealer said that there was no extended warranty. He quoted a replacement fix at $218.00.
What's the story on this ERG thing?


2.) I decided to clean the battery terminals. Reinstalled cables, now I can't play the CD or radio.


HELP !!!!!!!!!!

PS I'm new to this forum so these problems might have been already addressed.
