Entire CL-S Engine/Tranny

Guys I was looking around Acura Automotive Parts to see how much a brand new 2003 CL-S Engine and 6speed Manual Tranny would cost. Under Engine Assembly - Tranny Assembly there were 4 parts that totaled to something around 5,500. However there were other parts scattered on their parts list that I know I would need to do a CL-S swap onto a first gen, so my question is, can somebody who knows their shit tell me how much would all the parts cost to get the Tranny and Engine and all the parts neccessary to do this swap.

Please don't respond with the ever popular "Dude, just get a new car" or "man, just trade in your first gen, and get a CL-S" or "Not worth it IMO"

I don't have enough money to do this and probably will not for a long time, I just want to know, so I can have something to dream about. Thanks.

its probably easier to buy a front clip from japan, if you want to order it new you will still need valve coves wiring harness, ecu, manifolds, shift linkage, pedal assy. clutch master cylinder. there probably more stuff but cant think of anyhitng right now. and alot of people say it doesnt fit but i dont know for sure

I know our cars are based on the 94-97 accords, but I know for a fact that the CL-S engine will fit in a 98-02 Accord (b/c it has been done), so I was under the impression that it would fit with out much of a hassle.

I've always thought that the body was based of the 94-97 accords, while under the hood was based off of the 98-02 accord v6s?

heres the link for all you need to know about the tranny click here i think the easiest way to do it would be to swap the engine and transmission because of all the ecu bypassing. Good luck finding one tho id look into buying a totaled one and changing all the parts rite over but it be crazy and cost alot of $$$ and some downtime on your car. If you do it yourself you mite save some money but the parts isn't the problem its the labor id think it be more worth it to wait till they bulletproof the stock auto tranny and mod the hell out of the j30.
