I know this is a dumb question
but does anyone know what the engine code is for 1997 3.0 CL preimum?

If its what I think you are talking about...I'm pretty sure its the f30b...

Wow I really did not mean to put the f30b...I know it is the j30...I have no clue why i put the f30...memory lapse i guess
