Emissions Recall

I received a notice from Acura in 2002 for an emissions recall on my 1998 2.3CL. It said after 75,000 miles they will replace a whole bunch of stuff for free.

Today, I called my local Acura dealer and they do not show the recall for the VIN on my car. I called Acura and they told me the same thing.

Did anyone with a 2.3CL have this recall done?

Sounds like a way for them to get you in for something thats supposed to be free and find something else wrong and then it will cost you $$$. I dont think the dealership will do very much free. Even if they give you the tune up I noticed that they say with the scheduled maintenance which ar pretty expensive at 90,000 and105,000 miles. I would only use this if something on my emmision system were already malfunctioning but i would not let the dealership "CHECK" anything.
