Emission Plug (serious help)

I went to two emission shops to obviously get my car serviced and both shops said my emissions plug isnt in my vehicle...Is it possible to remove an emission plug or cut the wiring out? Also, would anyone be willing to copy and paste an image of where it's suppose to be or tell me its location? Thanks.

It's behind the ashtray, if it's not there, it is probably inside your console and someone had your console out and didn't plug it back in. I've forgotten to put mine back in the right place before. Pull your ash tray out, you're looking for a gray plug has diagonal ends on it kind of like this

Here you can see where the plug should be, the plug should be in the hole behind the shifter, on the driver side, the left hole is the cigarette lighter. The obd-II gray plug is behind the ashtray which is the rectangle hole behind the shifter, below the radio in this pic.

It should be in there, if not it will be a pain to replace. I'm sure it's there, just buried. The plug looks like this
