I had a MTX 81000D 1500w amp in my 2.2 CL ... And currently its not installed but I was having electrical issues. The car never started anymore. I put in a bigger alternator yesterday, 150A, but sometiems the car still doesn't want to start. Do you think I should replace my battery ?

What kind of sounds does it make?

 

if u hear a click clicknoise ist your starter you can actually hit it, you will see the red wire from the battery go to it, try turning it on and have someone hit it and if its the starter clickin it should turn on

 

i would say get a new battery

 

does the car "turns" when you start up? if it does, probably the starter.

if not, it could be the battery. since your system might have sucked up all the juice from the alt and the battery. did you recharge the battery? or it could be so dead that you'll need a new battery
