Electric Turbo Blower?

Neone ever heard of this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eb...692337&r=0&t=0

I found it while looking for mods.... Ok if a normal turbo adds 600cfm and this does 240cfm... that's almost half a turbo right? So thats a 40hp gain? Does this make sense... or is this completely bogus.... It would be worth 150 bucks to see if it worked... neone wanna go in on one and see?

They are pretty bogus, for forced induction to work you need at least 1.6 psi. Most of these electronic blowers produce only 1 psi. Also you have to take in account things like a need for a wastegate or blow off valve. You can buy those from marine supply stores for a lot cheaper. Also Venom is making one I just saw it in the new super street so if you wait for their dyno graph you can see whats up. Turbodyne also makes one I believe. As always if you use the search option you can look at some old post on this subject which we had last month.

Oh no, my fault I didnt elaborate in the new issue of Super Street Magazine they had a Venom add that showed their new blower, but Ive checked the website everyday now, but they dont have it up yet. The site is www.venom-performance.com. You can always check out turbodyne though. Just as a little suggestion, if your wanting to do some modding go ahead and start with AEM products or Unorthodox Racing. The CAI is a great place to start, Unorthodox crank pulley is a must and then you can get the other two AEM pulleys. A new cam gear is also a good buy once you start modding. Headers and a new catalytic converter are also good as well as a cat back system. Also some iridum plugs and new plug wires are good too.
