Now we all know that our ECUs for the f23a1 are OBD2 which is nearly impossible to upgrade a chip. I was wondering if I buy a obd2----> obd1 conversion harness from skunk2 for example, would i be able to use a obd1 accord ECU from like a 95 accord and chipped that ECU. Will i have any probs? I see its pretty simple to put a mugen chip in a 95 accord ecu. Thanks

 

Youd get more out of just a vafc.

You can get a used one for what those conversions cost.

 

yea i was just wondering. Its expensive tho. The harness is like 200+ and the obd1 ecu is like 100 plus the chip....thats around 350-400. Same as a vafc.
