Saw these on ebay, anyone know if these kits actually work? $50 isn't bad, but I wasn't sure if these would be worth it. They're a 9006 conversion to HID bulb sockets. I was going to get nokya's but wasn't sure if these would be worth the extra $30 to go HID. Anyone tried these, or know if they work?

If I cant understand a word of the seller's description of the item, I dont buy it. It doesnt look like it will do much other than use higher wattage bulbs. DOnt expect your car to look like it has factory HID's with that kit. Id say go for the Nokya's and get the heavy duty harness.

Thanks pebe, that's what I was planning on doing. Didn't think that they looked like a very good product, but figured i'd ask for a second opinion. Thanks for the response.

Someone tried it and said that it got so hot it shattered and there was blue glass all in his lights. Not very fun to clean up.

Yeah that would suck! Knowing myself Id probably be too lazy to take off the bumper and lights and leave all the glass in there

Yeah, that would suck to clean broken glass out of hl's. I did check out xenondepot. Didn't really wanna shell out 300 or so, but I'll keep lookin around. May just do a projector conversion instead, not sure yet. Joe, what do you think? Anyone else? Which do you think I should go for. (also blacking out the headlights btw)
