There's a girl driving a white CL in my area with that same kit... looks decent in person a far but close-up it looks like "krap" because the alum trim doesn't match (oem ones are distinctively older than the autogrilles.) I think it'd look better with a white or black CL.

 

You could have made that for $5 from home depot

 

Does anyone know how to make one of those home depot grills? I keep pmn peeps about it, but they wont tell me how. That or I will get a sheet of mesh off ebay soon.

No, some people on here have grill made from some kind of furnace filter stuff that looks pretty nice, and is really cheap. I wanted to know how to make one of those.

The ones I'm talking about have more of a mesh look, like that dude with the candy blue cl has one on his ride.

its a waste of time and money. trust me...You have to cut all the ends diaginal to fit.

you know how hard it is to cut at an angle? I surely dont. And our grill is not all the same length...so its crap.

 

Fortunately my father's a plumber...so angle cutters are nto a problem, i still don't want a shit grill though....How'd you do it? what material?

I don't care too much for the cheezy mesh insert.. Or the 98-99'.

 

Don't like the mesh on the 2nd gen and the grille on the 1st gen just looks like braces

You could probably get away with using the chrome door trim from autozone.

 

They don't make them anymore, they're getting pretty hard to find, try www.acuraoemparts.com

I would guess since their pages have almost identical set-ups, they're r prolly the same company... not 2 mention the prices are exactly the same... if u dont use ne of ur stock hardware... you'll will need all parts on the list... choose b/t the #6 nuts(side protectors) it'll b close 2 $100+ if u get ur own tapping screws...
