what do you guys think of this? Think its another "Tornado" type of product or will you actually gain some hp from it?

There is no way that thing could push enough air to increase the intake pressure. A 3.0 liter engine intakes roughly 254 cubic feet of air per minute at WOT. If you think a 3" electric fan is going to move this much air (more to create boost) I have some swamp land to sell you.
I have it and noticed a slight improvement, especially at high-end. You'd be amazed a how much air that little 'fan' can blow, its very powerful. Theie website used to have a video of it blowing a Duraflame log across the room, think it's still there.

Some of my opinions abt that thing if you're interested in getting it.
Fact 1: It works by driving more air into your intake
Opinion 1: Therefore, if you use a larger engine (which requires more air), you would likely get slightly less benefit.
Fact 2: It sucks air in. It could also suck WATER in.
Opinion 2: Go WOT over a splash, and you're more likely to hydrolock because 5% more water will be sucked in. Why 5%? CAI intake air pressure is about 20psi. This guy adds 1psi. Therefore, 5% more water sucked in thru a splash. Or water travels 5% further up the intake.
Fact 3: It ONLY works during WOT
Opinion 3: So you won't get ANY benefit during daily driving. Unless you WOT during your daily commute (you fuckin' maniac...

Is makes a noise, not as loud as the video makes it sound. Can't hear it while driving tho. As for sucking water in: it mounts in the CAI tube between the bypass valve and the throttle body not at all increasing the chance to intake water. As for working only at WOT, why not? That's when you want the extra power, if you're less than WOT and want more power you press down on the pedal more. Here's a quote from their site:
"You do not want to engage the eRAM to generate pressure when the throttle body is restricting it. If it came on under part throttle, the choking action of the throttle would just remove any gains in pressure created by the e-RAM. Normally, If you want more HP when you are at part throttle, you just press further down on the gas pedal to open the throttle-body, and let more air into your engine. It is only when your throttle is wide-open, and your engine is taking all of the air it is capable of (equal to the total displacement of your engine - CC's or Cubic inches - minus the drop in air pressure created by inherent restrictions in your intake system) that you can realize any benefits from a pressure generating device like the e-RAM."
There's more info on that and other issues too at their site.

That's how they get you. With those money back guarantees. If a money back guarantee meant anything then all those diet pills that have outrageous predictions on the label would be out of business also, but the thing is that people never send the stuff back. Over 90% (I can't remember the exact number) of people who have the opportunity to send back an item which they are unsatisfied don't.
It's the same thing with rebates. Companies and stores use rebates so they can advertise a lower price, but the majority of people never send in their rebates.
