hey guys ,is it possible to run "Y" pipe and have 2 muffler on a 98 3.0 CL?? does it have space on the left to have a muffler?? Thank you guys. I really want to have 2 muffler!!! looks more aggressive.. and BTW is there more HP increase if I have 2??

I'm pretty sure it's possible. Even 4 bangers get dual exhausts even tho i'm not sure why.....Not too sure about the performance increase....i would assume it wouldn't help any cuz you're just adding extra piping that the exhaust has to travel through. I could be wrong tho.

 

I just checked the left side, doesn't seem that there is space for the muffler....

 

i think someone took out the donut and banged in the little well it goes in with a hammer to make room for the pipng. Its definitely been done before though

 

I have dual exhaust and it is possable, but WhiteWu is right, I had to take the spare tire out and bang in that side of the spare tire hole in the trunk, but when you open the trunk you cant tell its beat in, but I havent notice and performance loss, and the sound is awsome, I love it and Im glad I did it, no regrets http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=63450

Yup it's been done, no performance increase though, just more sound and looks very good
