so i got ticketed for going 57 on 40 late June. in addition for the speeding ticket i got written down for the tint on my cl. i havn't heard from the county since then so i was wondering if i was off the hook. i guess this is a pretty dumb question, but last time i got a ticket i immediately received a letter in the mail giving directions what todo. this time i havn't recieved anything from them and it's been almost 2 months. is there a chance the cop didn't hand it in?

yeah either they screwed up, or there is a warrant for your arrest

 

was it out of state?

 

just call and confirm whether they issued you a ticket or not. if you have a warrant, they double your fine....i've learned that one already....

but it also depends on your state....

 

just go get it resolved...dont sit and hope on anything good to come out of this...

yeah, i just paid 1200 for a fix it ticket from 2002 That "went away" than came back last month. Sooooooooooooo many fees. omg. they said "pay it today or lose your license". So yeah, take care of it tomorrow.
