driver's seat automatically move back to origin

hey, do you guys know how to adjust the "origin" of the drivers seat when you move it forward? sometimes 4 seat in the car and they want to get out drivers side, and when i let the chair go forward, and then put it back, it mechanically moves back to like a very close front position, how can i change the position that it automatically goes to? thanks

mine goes back to the position that i have it set at. one time my girlfriend drove and of course moved the seat. so i had to adjust the seat back. if i remember correctly you might have to have the car on for it to remember the setting.

On the seat's trip back to it's original position, it'll stop & move forward again if it "hits" something. It doesn't take much. Once mine moved back forward, it seemed to lose it's original position memory.

After starting it, re-setting it & trying it again.....it was fine.

mine always seems to stop just short of being where it's supposed to be...

always have the engine off ..don't see any relation...

solution: it your passengers are lucky enough to ride in your cl, their asses can get in on the passenger side

My driver seat works and returns to its original position, but the passenger side does not. It seems to return to the frontmost position and then the passenger can't get back into the car letting someone in the back out... Any ideas how the passenger seat works?

My passenger seat slides back to original position. When people get in the back seat, they grab the seatback & pull it towards them.

I've never been able to figure this one out. My seat is getting worse. It's used to go back into position just fine, but now if I make it go forward, and it stays there for a minute or more, it will not go back to it's original position. Instead, it backs up for 1-2 seconds, then goes completely forward!

So far - both of my seats work exactly the way the manual says they will.

Haven't had a problem out of them yet.

We need a "knock on wood" smile
