Hey, my driver side window is acting up, and seems like it got loose from the regulator, i took the door panel off, and can see a loose wire. Anyone know how to connect the wire again? When I push up or down, i hear the window trying to go up or down but since the wire is loose , the window is moving. Also how do I put the door panel back on? I struggled for a while trying to put it on with no luck. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

 

it is time for a new window regualator homie.... i tried to reconnect my loose wire and that shit was impossible.... so i just bought a new regualator... i think i paid 75$ shipped..... Good luck

 

what part are you having trouble on putting the door panel back on?

my window regulator went out too, and on the drivers side too

and i couldnt get the door panel back on, which steps do i do first on putting the door panel back on?

 

1. if you dont know how to fix something, dont take it apart!!!!!!!
just messing with you. the only way to learn is take it apart and put it together. i also bought the window regulator off ebay for 75 and it took me 20 min to install. with the door panel, you first wanna put the top part right next to the glass and slide the lip between metal and window. make sure all of your wires are reconnected, then from there you can go about beating the crap out the door to get them plastic clips in..

 

hey froggy was the installation of the regulators hard? how did you do it, because i didnt go further than taking the door panel off, i just put my head in that big hole (no pun intended) and saw the wires all messed up.

 

My driver door regular broke also - but the plastic clip that holds the steel cable in place snapped. I called Acura and they said that I had to buy the whole regulator unit for like $130 or so! Instead my friend took off my door panel, diagnosed the problem, is fixing the plastic clip, and replacing it for me all for $80.

 

the same problem happen with my window. the clip that hold the metal cable broke and i went to the dealership and bought a whole new track and motor i unfortunatlly paid 170 for mine i counldn't deal with the cold weather so i sucked up and threw so money out.
