double dinn pics
does anyone on here by anychance have a double dinn unit installed on your first gen!? if so, can you post some pics and info on exacly how you mounted it?
because our cars only have rear support for a headunit, and im not exactly sure how to mount one of the new eclipse AVN units because its got screw holes and mounts only on the sides of it.

hmmmm, well thats a kit for 2 single dinn units.............im looking specificly at the eclipse AVN5435 its a double din. your is prob. held in with 2 cages inside that template right?
Heres what im after, and if you could see if from the back, it has no mounting points or anything, there only on the sides because of the design of the unit. My question is, how do u get it there securly?

ohh, i see what you mean now, im sure they make a double din sized bracket. There are holes on the size of that unit and you screw it to the bracket. Then the actual bracket you screw to the frame, probably on the bottom where those two screw holes are. I didnt even screw mine in because it fits so damn snug. I have to like wiggle, pull and yank to get the sucker out
