I just purchased a new Eclipse AVN5510 for in my car. The unit came with a Scosche install kit to make it fit in the dash. However, as everyone knows thoes install kits are cheap plastic. Well the AVN is way to heavy for the cheap plastic install kit and moves around way to much in the dash. I need to figure out a way to get some metal brackets to make it more secure. That sounds easy until you look at the way honda designed our radio mounts. 2 silly screws at the very bottom is all we have to work with.

So, my question to anybody that could help me:

Is there any way to mount the unit in the car with some kinda metal brackets???

Ive seen several pics of 5th gen accords with double din's over on hondasociety but i have not been able to get registered to post over there.

PM klepto, he has a double din eclipse hu that he made a bracket for
