One of our customers emailed me that pic. I thought it was his, never meant to steal your pic. I'll have it pulled if you'd like, just let me know.

Jeff,
No, Not necessary! Just surprised.
You can use it all you want!
Love those door sills! They really stand out, and make the car's interior look fantastic!
Thanks for a great job!

Thanks, I appreciate you letting us use the pics. People steal our pics all the time (hence the watermarks) and so we would never intentionally use someone else's without permission. And I'm glad you like the sills.
The reason we used that pic was because it's so clear. Most customer pics are pretty grainy/fuzzy/crappy but that pic looked so much better. I even complimented that customer on his photography skills, and it turns out they weren't even his pics LOL.

Tell you guys what, if you get 5 people together, price will be $60.00 shipped.
And if you get 10, then we will do it for $55.00 shipped.
This applies only to the first gen CL. I want to increase interest in them and get more out.
We can barely keep up w/ the 2nd gen CL orders, so I don't think a GB is necessary for them.
And I think most of you know our new policies/procedures for GB's so we won't run into the problems that some of you have heard about with the original GB last year.
So for any questions, email me at sales@evolution-autodesign.com
Thanks.

I talked to Dust..this is what he had to say about the Sills...
Acura3.0cl -
How hard was the install of the Door Sills.??..DO they install with Double sided Sticky Tape?? You think their worth $50??
Dustbuster4 -
I think the door sills are worth it. I recommend using glue to secure them to the stock plastic sills. The sills come with double side tape already on them. The double sided tape wasn't strong enough for mine (they would come loose from time to time). I used epoxy glue. Less than $5.00
So there ya have it!!!

Basically, when we hit 10 people or more, then I get the list of names together. These are for people who are committed to this GB. Not "I'm not sure, maybe" This will be done by a certain deadline. Since you guys are enthusiastic, the deadline will probably be very soon since it looks like we have no problem getting the 10. At the deadline, we simply start making the sills and the GB is officially closed and no more people will be allowed to join. You can start sending payment then, but if you pay by credit card, we won't bill you until the sills are ready to ship. We will collect the money from individuals, no need to have one person collect the money and then send us the lump payment like with some GB's.
And I will keep everyone updated, so as soon as everything starts shipping which shouldn't be more than a week or so after everyone sends payment in, I will email or post all tracking numbers so you can track your orders here. That's basically it.
And they do install w/ the 3M double sided tape. The sills are already backed with it, so just peel and stick.

Unfortunately, I can't do $50 for 15 orders. At a certain point we just can't make the sills any cheaper. It would take like 30 orders for my cost to drop enough to hit $50 and I don't think we're going to have that many. I'd hate to make everyone wait for 30 just to save $5.

Did I here him say that tyhe sills come in pairs, as in I would not have to buy two so that I could do both the passenger and drivers side sills? If this is the case then I am definitely in. But I do have one question first, How much is shpping and all of that?

The sills are sold in pairs, so 1 set is for 1 car.
And the price includes shipping.

Guys,
Keep in mind that my comments about using the glue are NOT to be taken as a negative, concerning the quality of the aluminum sills.
It's in the design of the stock plastic door sills. Because they have the 2 raised ridges, it keeps the full surface area of the double sided tape from sticking to the plastic.
I found by using epoxy, it helped fill in the space between the ridges and gave the double sided tape better adhesion.
The sills will stick, just using the applied double-sided tape. I just wanted to make sure they would NEVER come off for eternity!
