well what model is your car? 2.x or 3.0

 

What kind of trans swap we talkin about here?

 

Depends on the shop. I have had shops charge 250-500. But depends on manual or auto. And motor

 

its a 3.0 and i was going to go from an auto to manual.

yeah, if you do it you will be the first on here to do it. The only manual transmission that we figure that will work on the 3.0 is a 6 speed from a 2nd gen CL-S and they are expensive to find. You can't just hook a 2.X manual transmission to the 3.0 and the accord transmissions will not fit the CL either. There are many threads about the 3.0 transmission and at least one talking about the swap for a 6 speed CL-S transmission on the 3.0 (started by me) but no one has actually done the swap on this board yet as far as i know. But you are looking at quite a bit of money for the swap if you can find anyone that will do it, and there is more parts than just transmission and pedals that needs to be changed. Its going to be quite expensive even if you do it yourself but I couldn't imagine what labor would cost to do something like this

 

He won't be the 1st one, Cocoa (Chris) was the 1st one. but he put a different bottom end in his.

 

He put a whole different block and heads, plus the 6 speed swap

 

ya never mind then.

 

I think if he did it, it would be the first 3.0/6speed swap on here. At least the first one I have seen

 

where can I find a transmission for my 3.0 in the next couple of months? I want to have a spare that i could even repair myself, so its ready for when the one actually in the car now poops out.
