doing the valve adjustment.
So... I was going to do my valves on thursday. Is it hard to do? Hard to get to the rear cylinder? I read the post with the factory description of it but I mean is it typically a 5 hour job or a 2 hour job or what? I got the diy thing that was posted but it said 98 on it, i wasnt sure if they changed the valve clearances from 97-98. lemme know.

Unless you have a valve ticking loudly all the time, its a waste of time to adjust all the valves. I drove a 90 Accord Ex to 270K miles and checked the valves several times. They never changed. I always had a little cold engine/cold weather valve noise that disappeared after perhaps 10 mins of driving.

is it possible that i could have valve noise at just one small rpm interval, because ive been hearing a noise that sounds valve related (maybe) between 2200 and 2400 rpm, mainly under low load. would a valve adjustment help? thanks man

where is....
i have VERY loud valve ticking, i hear it when i get around 2200-2900rpm or right before it shifts. i took it to acura, and they put new belts on it but it didnt fix the noise completely.
