well actually one of my friends just got his hid's off ebay under $180 brand new shipped, plug-n-play and i think that is VERY reasonable. since i paid $35 for my silverstars, $180 off ebay doesnt sound too expensive

think about this way...
anyone and their mom can make an ebay account and sell, so warranty issues come in concern.
it takes a reputable company with a website to back warranty.. so no ebay for me (unelss i buy things that i wont have to worry about warranty over)

Besides Kaixen is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer that develops and builds its own components (unlike some companies that buy them from China and re-assemble it). It currently holds E13, TUV, and QS9000 quality certifications. It is the only other company in the world (other than Phillips) to have developed the diamond-shape bulbs.
I doubt the ebay guy has these qualifications. I dealt with 5 different HID companies before discovering KAIXEN. They all would have issues from lights flickering to ballasts not working to not being plug n play. I haven't had one issue yet with the KAIXEN kits and I run them on my own car. Plus they have a 1 year warranty.
Oh yea... I am going to put a huge stocking order in for 9006 kits so there will be no delay in shipment.

Those don't look anything like the kaixen, just cuz they have ballasts and wires and a sticker doesn't mean they're the same thing 
But hey, you got a cheap price so beat the piss out of em
