How many of you feel for this front bumper and if it was made for a CL? IMO, I think it is the better of the rest of the kits made for the 94-97 Accords. Let me know what all of your opinions are.

I think the Combat looks ok, but only without the mesh grille. The Cwest kinda looks 'bulky' and wont go with the lines I think.

Thanks for the input. So which would you recommend. Not for me but for the CL community. I'm done with my ride. Something that you would like to see on a CL?

Let me know while demand is still high and producing one might be feasible! Considering the backorder/discontinued situation of the Type R lip.

In the meantime, I'm currently designing a rear lip for us Cl'ers. Something similar to the 95 Accord Wings West lip so stay tuned.

Also, take into consideration that I can get my lip reproduced and the extreme point on mine could be flatten out a bit. Obviously, mine was the prototype, if you all want to work around this lip we can do that too. And then I can get that reproduced.

This is all food for thought at the time being but not to be taken lightly. Something will be done here.

I'm diggin teh "close 2nd" in the post above, and like teh Cwest also, but they would need some modification for the "point" the CL has in teh center in order for them to blend properly.

So I take it no one is interested in a kit for the CL? From all this talk about Wings West Lips and people wanting kits for the CL and now when the opportunity IS here no one wants one anymore???

If you guys are figuring this is another one of those bullshit "Oh we can have a kit made if someone donates a car" it's not!!! If I can get enough people to want a kit made it will happen. But I want to get a concensus on who likes what kit? And then from those we can take a vote as to which would be the first offical body kit for the CL. Believe that this can be made into a reality. Honestly, this is rather disappointing!!

Let me know peoples so I can make arrangements.

hey, where in miami are you located? Im up (or down) in the springs, sandwiched between Haw-lee-uh and the Doral. I can "donate" my car to the kit cause if its close enough ;p

As far as kits go though, Im a simple guy. Simplicity is elegance. All those front bumpers look way too bulky for the CL (imho.)

I think something similar to that CWest one you mentioned earlier (the white one) might work with proper modifications.

I think a lip kit like that is best. and if I had to choose. that combat is cool, but the front signal light would have to be figured out.

its not that we are not interested in kits. we are just not interested in THAT kit. i cant even count on all my fingers and toes how many cars ive seen with that kit. youre comin here and sayin you want us to be different with kit that is more mainstream than Britney Spears. i think the "close 2nd" i posted would be a better choice.

The main thing is I'm trying to get a concensus on A kit doesn't matter which one. The combat was just a suggestion. And the main thing is trying to stick within the 94-97 Accord Group, it requires less modification and therefore would be cheaper to those who are interested. So if you peoples can figure out a kit that you want let me know what it is. This is not a matter of my opinion...it's a matter of making a kit for a CL. Damn, how hard is that to see.

So let's close this thread and I'll start a new one...for those who need things in laymen terms.

I would agree on lips, but that is extremely custom fabrication. It requires using whatever's around to make the mold (like my front lip - which isn't even completely perfect).

As far as the Mugen lip...I don't think it will look too good on the CL, it's too blockish. The Type R lips on ebay seem to fit better but it doesn't look much different than what we already have (this is not the Wings West one).

So let's keep brainstorming. I'll post a new thread when we get a little more input.
