Does 4x100 with 40 offset fit a 98 2.3???

Dont think so, our bolt pattern is 4x114.3

thanks guys...how about a 4x114 but with a 40 offset? how would that affect the wheel/tire???

With 40 there might be a lil bit off a rub, isnt the perfect offset like 42? help me out here ppl

i've also heard of people having anywhere between 42 to 45 or something...i havent a clue...if 40 would be okay. im also interested in the ?
