I justed wanted a light tint for the bumpers to match the headlights. What do you think? Darker, lighter?

cool, cool... maybe a TAD darker... blends in better with the black housings and tinted windows...

with them un-tinted they kinda stand out a lil too much...

BTW- whats up with the green car???!!

dude that car looks phat...i love that paint job if its the real color...also i can't really tell to much of a difference in the bumper lights...so i guess you should make em darker or try to take another picture closer up...

man i like the paint job, is a photoshop done or did you do it? along with the lights is it a photoshp edit? and isnt it illegal to have blackout or tinited lighting in the front? i dont know but it looks cool though. nice look maybe a little darker but not too much but they also look fine as they are

haha yes it is PS. I went to do the bumper lights and got bored so i slammed it and gave it a nice new color Wish i could do it for real but it costs so much money, but i guess its only money so why not Anyone know how i could do the bumpers? Spray on tint that people use for tails or something? Would it flake off since its on the front? Oh about it being illegal, so are the clears (in most states) and i just want a light tint so they blend with the headlights better nothing really dark. If you guys tell me what kind of tint to get i'll do my old CL clears from a teg and see how they come out

a good quality window tint can easily handle the heat off those 5 watt corner bulbs. just tint them with window tint. i seen ppl do it on our taillights. looked nice if ur going for the sporty look

window tint better handle the tiny bit of heat from a 194 bulb... you gotta figure the tint is made to sit in the sun all day... and you know how hot it gets in your car sometimes!! Even way up here in NY!!

I'd use window tint to get a nice, even tint... the spray tends to seem un-even unless you do it very, very carefully... but with the spray ive also noticed the lights lose their shine, and look rather dull... which I guess could be fixed with a couple coats of clear coat.

I'd try both techniques on your old lenses... see which you like better...

would the window tint stay on if it's on the outside? also the shape of the lens is a complex curve so you'd probably get some creases and whatnot.

I think i could easily deal with the creases but i dont know about the window tint on the outside of the bumper light I would think it would look horrible once a rock hits it. I might try it though, maybe like a 50 percent tint so they are still pretty bright. Does wall mart sell the stuff?

wal mart sells tint, i dunno about 50% tho, lightest i saw is 35%
