listen.. i dint call you any names so just chill the fuck out.. first off if you read what i wrote on the first post (which you obviously dint otherwise you wouldnt sound like a fucking douche bag right now)

if so.. i would really like to get these. if not, pretty ricey

what is "ricey" about useful things? i SPECIFICALLY said if it doesnt, its pretty ricey... what is your argument again? you're just as stupid as the people who say CF hood pins are ricey

And even if it did help, you'd still be a fuckin douche to put them on your car, or even think about it. I'm sorry, even if you could make these functional on a car, you'd still look like a fuckin idiot w/ them on.

And yes, CF hood pins can be stupid, hence why you don't buy a cheap CF hood where you can't use the stock hood latch

you = fuckin moron

this right here, sums it up

i am 99.9% sure at least half of the people who purchased the CF hood aren't doing it cuz they can lose some weight... then see what people consider rice

it helps in turning, huh? What else does it help in???

What is a CF WW's lip gonna help you do compared to the stock poly one? Considering it doesn't weigh much

But enjoy it, esp. when you scrape it

^ dude i never compared it to the stock one.. i KNOW the stock poly one weights less but you gotta compare apples to apples. the CF lip will weight less than the WW one.. i know its not a significant weight loss but every little bit helps

Canards are for more front end down force focused in turns and yes they do work, 1 member on Honda-Tech made his own and went to the race track, tested them got better lap times.

There are a bunch of imitations on the net, there useless.

do canards provide more front end downforce? yes...is it really going to make a difference? probably not. track prepped cars are all about going faster even 1/10ths of a second so to them, adding these canards helps because the cars WILL be going fast enough and entering corners at high enough speeds such that the slight increase in downforce will make a difference in their times. Also, take a moment and thinka bout it...if you really wanted to increase downforce in the front you would be looking for a underbody diffuser. I mean, without an underbody diffuser, ANY help the canards would possibly offer would just be negated. thats my opinion, i could be wrong but to sum it up, i wouldnt get them

edit: forgot to add that most of the canards i see out there are just tiny triangular pieces of carbon fiber that won't do shit. Real canards, meant to increase downforce on track cars, have been wind tunnel tested im sure. I'm sure that the shape, size, and mounting angle/position of the canards also matter as well. Most of the canards out there are just for show...more pieces of cf to throw onto the car.

They were carbon fiber.

Imitations are thin and flimsy they won't work well with the pound of pressure being exerted on them.
