Do all 6x9's fit?
I saw on some posts that there might be some height/depth issues with 6x9's in the 98 2.3. When I go to Crutchfield only 1 6x9 shows up that will fit my car, that cant be right.

There are metal bars across the top of the trunk, but a pretty large magnet will still fit. There are a few other threads about this. All I know is my blaupunkt speakers have huge magnets and the have about 2mm of clearance before the bars.

The first ones I tried didn't fit. They are a new and upcoming brand called Concept. We just tried a different pair and they did fit. The magnet was bigger, but it was wider instead of deeper. Good luck getting to them, that was a pain in the ass.

I have pioneer 6x9's and my metal trunk bars rub on them. Dosent see to hurt them to much but I like to find a nother way to have the trunk bars in there, or find an alternet way for the trunk to pop up....
