Do the 1st Gen 3.0 have an Imobilizer?

Just wondering if the 1st Gen' 3.0 CL has an imobilizer. Cause the shop is saying either the car doesnt come with one, or mine was taken out with the last 17 month that it's been down.

I have a few issues that came up, and I'm trying to go about resolving them with the swap. Just a little something that came about with the damn swap...I'm currently trying to bypass/take out the imobilizer in the CLS ECU so that I dont have to reprogram my key with the CLS ECU. Cause they are saying that either my imobilizer system (thingy behind ignition and steering crap) was taken out, or ours dont have one. So again, just going about getting this resolved. Cause otherwise I need the damn keys from the guy I bought the CLS ECU from. Or go the expensive way of fixing this. Rrrrrrr....

I told them to hardwire it to start it, but whatevers...

Nevermind guys, just got my answer I was looking for. The imobilizer on the CLS ECU is intergrated and cant be bypassed. I just need to get an imobilizer off a newer accord and have them do whatever it is they do to match the key off the accord to the CLS ECU and what not. I guess this is going to be the costly way of going about this (aside from going stand alone).

Thanks anyways guys...

And to answer my own question, the 3.0 CL does not come with an imobilizer.

If you have a 98-99 they have a chip in the key, therefore an imobilizer, I believe chris has a 97, there in lies the problem.

RRRrrrrr, well I havent talked to the shop today. Worst case, I'll try to go with stand alone, if I can find one.
