Ding King- anybody used it?

In the 4 months that I've had my CL, I've developed two door dings . They aren't huge and are in the general proximity of the door handle of the passenger side door. Nonetheless, they are driving me crazy. Has anyone tried the as seen on TV 'Ding King'? Thinking about getting it. See http://www.dingking.tv/

Yes, if used properly, the Ding King can give dramatic results. Be aware that it is kind of a finness thing. You gotta pay attention to what you are doing, or you will make it worse. Take your time and look at the best placement. The key to a Ding King is knowing the spot to stick the puller, and of course, which puller end to use. But yes, it does work, and it can make a ding go away. There are other ways as well. Use a blow dryer to warm the ding, then touch it with a small peice of dry ice. if it is minor, it will pop out like it was never there. This method is easier on your paint than the Ding King. The DK will not really fuck up your paint, unless you have a chip in the spot. then, the adhesive will stick and remove a little. but it can be retouched.

Good luck.

i have used it myself and seen it used on a couple cars. i wouldnt recommend it if the dent is larger than 4" in diameter or if it has a point in the middle (as opposed to being rounded and smooth)

It works but if the shape of the ding is irregular than it might pop out a little weird... but in your case it should work perfectly.
