Differential fluid
#2
I just spent 30 minutes reading through the Acura 3.0CL Service Manual.
It doesn't look like it can be done. I dont see any fluid change beyond ATF.
Even if I'm wrong, the only way to get to the differential is by dropping the tranny and tearing it apart.
The manual is confusing, but I read throug the entire section on the tranny (which is 271 pages)!
There is no mention of draining any fluid prior to removal of the differential assembly nor replacing any fluid after working on it. However, there is mention of coating the "Tapered Roller Bearing" with ATF prior to reassembly.
It's my guess that draining the ATF also replaces the fuild lubricating the differential.
