Did a search for carpet removal

My carpets are filthy as hell. I think it be easier to take them out and bust out the scrubing brush on a pole and scrub the hell out of them instead of on hands and knees. Anybody had experience with taking out the carpet? Is it easy. But then I got thinking since I have those puppies out maybe I should put some dynomat/generic brand on the bottom while I am there. Any suggestions where I can put them and how much do I need.

Well, you will have to remove:

Rear seat bottom
Front seats
Alarm from under passenger seat
Center console (yes, all of it which is two pieces, top piece goes up to the bottom of the AC controls)
Kick panels
Bottom door trim
Trunk/gas lever bezel
Left foot rest

SOme folks would cut the carpet behind the upper center console to keep from pulling out that upper console. I would just remove it all.

If you are going to go through all that, just order a new carpet kit for $167.89 @ http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org

Hmm true because cleaning it might not work. It is really dirty.

I just looked at the diagram. Crap that is huge. It is the size of the entire passenger compartmnet. I think i am better off just removing the seats and then scrub the damn thing. Then use a wet dry vac to get all the liquid out.

Yeah, it's one piece. Don'e try to deep clean it in the car, you'll end up just getting the joot underneath wet and nasty and it will stink. Only option is to have it chemically or steam cleaned somewhere. But, for that price, spend a day and replace it.
