So, I went to discount tire w/ a few friends of mine, and while they were buying rims. I started talking to some high school guy about this 3.2 that was getting a tire fixed. Yah, it's his first car, it's a 2002 w/ a supercharger, there's so much crap already done to that freakin thing...supercharger, intake, rims, exhaust, hood scoop, freakin' everything. I was pissed, but more jealous than anything else. Freakin' bastard couldn't even drive the car when he got it b/c he didn't have his license yet! grrrrr rich kids make me sick!

 

pay it no heed. Love what you've got, and save those thoughts for when you're ready to buy your next car... I've caught myself thinking of "upgrading" to a high milage 2nd gen auto type-s just because i like em so much... but I dont really think about the consequences of doing that (potential glass tranny failure).

:shakehead it is such a shame, and most kids wreck their first car, he'll probably wrap that lovely s/c around a tree. It is sad, but I'm used to it, I came from the richest school district in the area and all the little yuppy kids had nice cars, daddy's hand me down bimmer's, bmw's, hummers, lexus's. Just sad really. Till F&F came out when I was graduated (thank god) and all the kiddies got civics and teggys to rice up

Its defintely a piss off, i went to high school with some of the richest kids in town..we had no student parking cuz we were downtown but i still saw them around the city on weekends in their BMWs, Benzez etc. They might have the cars and all but its more satisfying knowing you got it yourself and not from mom and dad.

Dont trip. I know some 17 year old kid with a 07' C55 amg Benz, and an MR Evo 9 which he's having built by a shop. Kid doesn't even know what the hell he's putting in his car. He's friend is using our connects to get the parts. We were laughing our asses off when we saw the list.

 

He might have actually asked me out, but being that I was there with my boyfriend...he probably figured he would have kicked his ass

Last year I met a freshman that was trying to 'stunt' in his m3. Turns out he wasn't even a freshman in college but one in HIGHSCHOOL without a license!!! so the kid with a CL doesn't suprise me.
