no, but people will often ask you what the hell your car is, or they will think it's something else.
your registration has the make and model on it, so it's not like a cop won't be able to figure it out if he pulls you over

I'm sure you can get harassed for it by a cop, but than again you can get harassed for anything. Even a stupid air freshener hanging on your rear view mirror.

Nope, been debadged for 2.5 years, never had a problem *knocks on wood* a cop here in PA told me debadging is not illegal because as soon as they run your plate it has the make and model of your car on your registration anyway

They could use it as an excuse to pull you over, but here they can't ticket you for it

if it were illegal to debadge your car, then it would also be illegal to badge it as something its not. Thousands of Type-R wannabe ricers would be crying in jail.

You know what you should do. Take off that Acura badge and paint it back. My girlfriend has a 1st gen. It looks clean with the black badge.

I was thinking of doing that actually since my A fell off recently. Hmm...ill PS it to see what it looks like. And I debadged with Bug and Tar remover, since my Acura and 3.0CL badge were heated from the sun i just pulled the one off and the other fell off. haha, but either way to get the rest of the shit off i used a CD, yes a cd and it didnt scratch the paint at all. You could still see the shadow and since I dont have a buffer or anything and I didnt want to screw it up myself I took it to a detail shop and for $10 they buffed/wet sanded it and came out with barely seeing that it was ever there.

i really want to debadge our CL, but I sure wont let my wife do it.

she did it to her tiburon, and SCREWED it up. everytime i was driving behind her at night i could clearly see where she screwed up the clear. she tried to compound it, but made it worse.

oh well, that car is smashie smashie now.

paint is so hard to be "perfect". every car i see has atleast 2 imperfections at work, unless its a show room car.
