Dealership install price for springs...

is fuckin outrageous!!! I've got my old neuspeed springs in my garage, and my boy Brandon (bdiddycl) wants to put them on his CL. so i said sure, i'm not doing anything with them, plus, gotta hook up friends you know. So we call around to a few places, just to compare prices. Best was $90 from this shop i usually go to. Then called the Acura dealership just to see what they'd say.

$418!!! WOW! that is some serious cash. I was like, 'it only takes like an hour to put springs on'. The service guy goes, 'yea, for each wheel' What a bunch of bullshit

Fuck, in Austin they want 200 bucks for an install. Not at the dealer either-the dealer refuses to install them. Performance shops won't do less than 200. Fuck.

MZM did it for 100? I asked MZM and they wanted 260 I think. I know that MZM does some seriously nice work, too. How did your friend get it done for 100? Hook me up bro

That could be a possibility. I think the 260 was for the springs + installation, but then again I'm not sure. I would like to get my car lowered, but that shit gets expensive fast. I wouldn't doing it myself, except I don't really know how. Anyways, let me know why you think.

Sorry for hi-jacking this thread. The dealership is expensive and probably not the best place you can go.

Just talked to MZM. Very nice and professional people. The said that they want 245 for all four corners-just labor is 245, springs are extra. They said that they hand torque everything and use impact tools only for removal. Sounds like they do top notch service, but seems like quite a bit.
