:sigh: Took the car in today to have my ABS checked out, since the light came on. Got a loaner, a TSX, and come back like 3 hours later. People had been playing with the air ride, my cd changer was on a whole different CD, all kinda shit. I'm pretty easy going, so whatever. The service advisor goes, well, take a walk around the car to make sure everything is ok. On the front drivers fender are a shitload of fingerprints, along with a gouge in the paint and a scratch. So i'm like, we have a problem. We got the tech that worked on the car, and he said he put a fender cover on the car, nothing should have happened. But then he goes, "well, a lot of people were walking around the car and checking it out, i wasnt with it the whole time" Apparently, everyone and their Mom at the dealership decided to go check out my car, sit in it, play with some switches, and watch a little TV. Nice. At least they admitted responsibility and will pay for the damage. There was also a spot on the trunk, i guess from looking at the air tank. I took it to my body shop, and the estimate was around $400 for just the front fender. It figures though, i've had so many problems recently with all this new work being done, i didnt even really get that mad, i was just like "oh well, it figures" At least its getting fixed.

 

What a bunch of damn douche bags!!! I had a problem w/ that in my old car. I would always take the fuses out of my Audio fuse blocks before dropping off. Also try to have my car clean when I brought it to the shop. I had the whole scratch thing happen also. What did ya expect though? I'd would forwarn the dealer and wait on it if possible...Now you now

i would demand to borrow the new TL for a couple of days while they fix their mistake or what about a NSX

with the money involved in your car i would demand more of them for what they did, i mean you trusted them with your car and then they go play with it when it is supposed to be in the shop being fixed, i mena if i invested a shit load of cash into my ride i would not want someone switching my switches, wtching tv or horsing around anywhere near my car

i would put you foot down a little more cause your ride is worth it and it can shows to the amount of attention that the dealership was giving it, not mechanical but more show, oooo, look what he got :thumbsdn: but anyways i would be irate

Well, got a call today from the dealership, and they let me know that it got approved from the "higher ups" to be fixed right away. I mean, i'm pissed about what happened, and how they were playing with all the stuff, and let them know in a nice way that i didnt really appreciate it. I could have thrown a tantrum and bitched and moaned about it, but, i mean, all that would've done is made me "that guy". shit happens, and when im' dealing with a customer, i'm much more receptive to the person if they are decent with you, versus screaming and causing a scene. But, what should i expect, if i was working there and saw a car with all kinda crap done to it i'd go look too lol. They admitted responsibility, are fixing the problem, and they ll continue to get my business.

 

thats good, at least they are taking care of the problem. Im sick and tired of people making mistakes, and not covering their ass or taking responsibility.

 

hell no man. how the fuck would they let someone, that's not even their techs get inside the car and play w/ the shit? i would feel so violated right here. what's next? they are going to let the customer test drive your ride? that's just rediculous!!!

i had the same problem when i got my mirror tinted i left the car there over night and figured one nite wouldn't hurt so the next mornin i went and found out that there wasnt ne gas left in the tank but i left w/ a half tank in there, so i just let that fly but wen i took at look in the front my kit was smashed in( as u can c in my sig.avator u have to park away from the curb) i confronted him long story short, i got free tint plus a bill....evened out wen igot it fixed.......SOBz i like tint though.....

 

What if she was fat??? Katana i only take my car to my friend that works at honda to have all my service/repairs done. He is the only one that drives my car, moves it, puts it on the rack, ect. It's kainda comforting that I don't need to worry about all the lot boys playing with my car/system.

 

thats why I always stay with my car no matter how long it is especially if at a dealership or shop getting work done, i like to supervise
