De-Chromed!

I have a 99 2.3CL with the split 5-spoke rims. I was walking in the driveway and noticed that one of the rims had lost the chrome on it. I took some cleaner and did all that i could but it didnt work. What happened? Has this happened to anyone else? I was thinking about getting it re dipped in chrome but that would probly be more expensie than buy a new one. Where can I buy a new one and about how much?? Thanks!

you could just get it fixed, take it to a wheel shop and they will be able to help you out .

you have the OEM split 5 spokes in chrome? I didn't know they came that way or did you get them custom??

No ju5tchi11in. They are the stock ones that came witht he 99 CL. Split 5 spoke.

as far as i know i thought the rims were polished aluminum i have the split five 98 rims and mine arnt if they are crome they will have to be dipped if they are aluminum they will have to be polished MY ADVISE IS JUST SAVE UP AND GET SOME RIMS
