I would of molded mine, but my car is too low. I eventually would crack it. I'm currently DIY-ing my rear bumper. If I had a garage, I'd be painting it all myself.

nice work david

what parts are needed for molding it?

did you drop it lower and then mold it to make it even if you were to put on skirts since the lip and the skirts for AM wont line up

nice work, how much for all the parts to mold? and what all do you need? take lots of pics

97acura3.0cl....what does AM mean?! i just learned this stuff doing it......this is my first time molding anything....i used a product that was recommended to me by ross...rmstoico....and its working great! its around 20 bucks a can...i bought two, but i dont think i'll need more than one.....then im just using body filler to smooth everything out....im not doin any side skirts or anything else...so i just stuck it where it looked good......its not much lower than stock...it justs ticks out more....im happy with that considering my cars low enough.....stay tuned for more pics!

do you know what kinda primer base your paint shop used? if its a laquer based primer thats your prob...also, they shoulda dded flex agent to the base coat to allow it to flex a bit...therefore no stress cracks.....

I'm about 2.75-3".

What type of product are you using?? Is it a plastic type product?? Most glass products bondo, duraglass ect will crack if flexed.

I'm very interested in the product you are using. Pm me and let me know.

no need to PM....first i use an epoxy primer to give a good strong base for the paint to hold to, second...when i spray the base coat i add an adjent called "bulldog" its the flex adgent and works great....i used it on my side skirts and mud guards...no probs yet... two years in the runnin!

I meant the product that you were using to mold it to the bumper. Haven't heard of a flexing body filler.
