Well i did the check engine test. Using the paper clip. I go look at the the chart at the 2.2 website. I got 78, I think i am counting it wrong or something, but I did it twice to see. I must be going nuts. Is there a different set of codes for a 2.3? or am I doing something here.

I went to autozone to get a free scan but they won't give it to me. They said the ground was wet, so I said I come back tom, but they said it has to be when the sun was out. Since it is winter, that like before 5 or something. I then ask maybe I can borrow it because they have signs that says you can borrow by leaving a deposit. But they won't give it to me. They said u can borrow it to parking lot but since it is raining and night they won't give it up, All i can say is autozone is WACK!!!!

 

Try a different auto parts place. There are some that should have a handheld scanner that would not be that dependent on weather (I have personally used one from a parts store where I live).

 

go to a csk.. they have good diagnostic equipment
