CV Joint

Alright in installed my v2 yesterday and noticed that the boot ont he driver side is spittin up shit everywhere. Shit i told myself. So iw as gonna replace the boot but i have been hearing a clicking noice lately and i read on previous posts about the bearing and changing the whole shaft.
1. Where do i get the new shaft?
2. Do i have to get a new shaft or just a new boot will be fine?
3. What if i can't tell which side the clicking is coming from?
4. How hard is it to install because Heavens knows all my money is tied up right now?

Thank you for your help, it is greatly appreciated!

step by step:
1. take of wheel
2. take off brake
3. take out rotor
4. take of axle
5. replace it.

Is that about it?

speaking of axles, I'm planning on using FI on my CL in the future. Is there and axle out there that we can get for our cars that can handle 400 HP with super sticky tires?

I can't imagine how bad the Torque steering will be.

There are plenty for civics and tegs, but i've yet to see one for the accord/prelude. But there has to be.

awesome. thanks CLpower. I never would have known where to look for that. I guess I should get the 94-97 accord auto axles then? Even though ti says it's for a 4-cyl...? They don't have nay for V6's on there, so I dunno what I should do.

oh I'm aware of the tranny issues, but I don't want to twist het axles once I get a good tranny and the SC. The power would do me no good if I can't get a grip on the streets without worrying that I'm going to screw teh axles.

Alright thanks man. I guess I'll be saving up for a while for that Dr evil tranny then... I will never take out a loan for such a thing. So I guess I'll be getting the SC and tranny in..... 2 years.

Damn expensive ass college.
