I have seen alot of u guys doin ur own trunk out of mdf. I want to know how do u attach it to the car glue it? screw it?


2nd I want to know how to attach fiber glass to something or does it going to attach it self? The reason for this ? is I heard to use wax paper to create the mold first but un sure what to do next. thanks for the help

 

1. yes, the mdf you can either screw it or wedge it into place...

2. Fiberglass I have is pressure fit... constructed a mold of the trunk so all nooks fit together...

you can make the mold usiing wax paper, but its not ideal to fit in nooks... another way is to: mask off the desired area and place release wax over the tape.. once you lay the fiberglass over it.. it will pop ruight out when hardened! Just any easy tip!
