I brought my two of tanabe exhaust and went to some muffler shops..

(i'm gonna do the custom dual exhaust..)

and.. they said.. it's gonna be around $400 for custom dual piping...

is that.. that expensive?? i'll be ripped off? or is that the normal price..

well.. that was just their estimates.. they said that it might be little more..but not less..

tooo expensive man..

where should i go? and.. what should i do? hmmmmmmm

you are losing power with duals

its not worth it with our POS engines

i would stic to a nice single deep exhaust, duals look nice but you lose power in the long run and you will have LESS low end power now cause of the backpressure is lost with more than one muffler

I say stick with single exhaust...and let me borrow the other one

Or I'll see if I can dig up money to buy it off you? first hearing how it sounds, etc

make sure they do it with a Y pipe.

also get a guarantee from them that if any of the hangers

slip out of place or any slight fuckups occur that they will fix it.

i think that 400 is straight. DEFINATELY go for it. Our cars are

slow as it is, your kit would look so sick with those duals. I dont

think anyone has done duals with classy mufflers like those.

Most people get duals that are cheap. Oh and if your concerned

about losing power, im pretty sure that you could have it done

so that the pressure comes mostly out of one side, i dont know how

to explain it, but like a straight back exhaust with one pipe on a

diagonal.

This is my opinion, you dont have 2 take it and go with it, but hey,

thats whut we are all here for, right.

yeah...that's another problem...lol

damn.. i thought it would be done w/o any problems..but a lot!!

well.. i'm 90% sure i'll do the custom duals...

but.. i don't know how it will look like if i just cut the other side of rear bumper..

1. should i cut first and install 'em..?

and.. later, when i do the custom job, should i mold? or shaved it?

or..

2. should i cut the other side of bumper and do the custom job and everything... and.. do the duals?

well..that's not that big problem.. but.. it will look ugly if i just cut..

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

i don't know!!!!

i meant..

i'll just cut the other side of bumper for temporary..

to make 'em fit..

and.. install the duals..

then.. when i do the custom job, i will shave the bumper or something..

got it?

or..

just wait.. and.. shaved, molded and then get the duals..?

go to MIDAS!! I got my duals done there a long time ago. They charged me about $200 for the install. I lost alot of power and lost my spare tire space All back to normal now tho. If you're going all show then do it. If not don't.
