How many of you first gen owners who drive standard want to get the new '03 6-speed CL when it's available? Or are you fine the way you are? I purposely didn't go with an '01 CL cause I wanted a standard, so '99 was the last year I could get it. Have to see a price for the '03 first, and if the build quality is a little better before I decide!

Im really happy with my car for now but when the time comes i wont go for the new CL. It has a huge butt and kinda bland styling. Besides i think i want a sporty sedan. The TL-S looks really nice but i need to get some money first.

 

I doubt it, I had to replace the 5spd in my CL at 34k mi and all the new type S's are blowing their trannies. If the car was a bit smaller and RWD, I'd consider, but to me, a high powered FWD luxury coupe with a stick doesn't make much sense.

 

I find that if I throw down in first in my 2.3 I get some torque steer...do you guys/gals think that problem could be bigger with the '03 Manual? Or is the lack of weight in the front of my 2.3 (along with FWD) the real issue...
