man i wish i was a little older and had a CL in 03-04, seemed more legit around here then.

 

It totally was, I had my car for almost a year when this thread was made, back in the old A-CL days, I didn't post back then, but I was on here all the time. People were a lot more knowledgeable and helpful back then

The best is, check out his mod list, sounds like most of the people on the forum, but he lists them all like they're great mods With full bra, shit that adds like 50 hp! And pimpin the stock bose too, god I miss these days on here

 

I think it died down because not too many people took it to the next level in modding this car. Which didnt generate too much interest for others to do so which probably lead to us not ever needing to upgrade our section of the forums with the amount of info you would find in lets say Hondatech. The car was only made for 3 years, and I bet there are still people that dont even know what a CL is...

 

3800 lbs, lmao. That would turn our 16 second cars into 19-20 second cars, lol. Damn carivans would be doing fly bys on us...

Every time I take my car to any type of shop, they always ask, "What is that thing??"

 

Too much infighting and drama in here. I drift in and out to see who's around... As for info, there are still a few knowledgable people... But the majority are just young kids who just don't know or know way too much for their own good.

They always think the 1g CL is newer than it is. Just a testiment to the forward thinking when this car was released. It must have been awesome to have one brand-new. Mine was already six when I got it.

Agreed, I always get questioned what year it is and when they find out, they're pretty much shocked.

I was at the gas station the other day. A white guy in a shirt and tie comes out of his G35.. We compliment each others cars and he says that our cars.. 97-99 CLs were the shit in the day. Agree?

 

Kids at my school always comment how they've never seen a car like mine before. Also theres this one girl with probably about a 2002 or so Lexus Rx300 and always thinks im the spoiled one, and that my car is newer than hers (I have a 98 2.3).
