Damn. Just like the TL. Does anyone know how often that happens with these cars?

Once I pay off 8k ish in debt. then I'll consider it. I hope my tranny goes out under warranty though. The ones they replace them with are wayyy stronger and have little failure rate. I didn't realize the 1st gen CL's had weak trannies too until I read a few threads over here after you mentioned it. I might just hold onto the TL. I wanted to mod the crap out of it, but now I have other priorities.

If you can get the CL for a good price, its a great car.

Take care of the usual maintenance and it will take care of you.

The car will last just as long as any honda or toyota.

I recommend the CL, if the price is right.

Yes, the transmissions are known to burn out, but i believe that's the same with the auto trannies in your TL

The guy e-mailed me back this morning and said he sold it last week. I guess it went to that other guy who wanted it on here though.
