Comptech Parts > Are They Impossible to Find?

I picked up my '97 Acura 3.0CL last month and am loving it. It's always been one of my favorite Acura models of the 90's. I bought it so I could have my new Tacoma as a toy but I'm strangely enjoying the CL project and ownership just as much (and sometimes more). I restored the headlamps today, installed an AEM Cold Air Intake, 6000K HID System, replaced clear corners with Amber, installed a new grille, did some underbody detail and updated some bulbs with some PIAA upgrades. I will eventually do a resto thread but wanted to get more done first. Now there are a few things I wanted to look into but hit a problem....

I cannot find any Comptech Headers, Suspension, or Exhaust...

Are they just no longer out there?

nope, you can find them used sometimes, but from what i understand, they've been non-existent for years

The comptech headers are not a dime a dozen as other brand headers for the j series in particular. I had obx headers in the past and never had a problem with them. If you rather stay clear of obx for whatever the reason, you can find custom made ones on the j32a website.

Hey I came across something that might interest you. It's a comptech cat-back dual exhaust for a 6th gen accord.

No it won't fit your car, BUT;

You can scoop it up for the $300 they are asking. Use one of the mufflers and have it fitted with custom piping ($100 for crush bent piping, roughly $500+ for custom mandrel bent piping), and then you can resell the other muffler to make up for some of the cost of the project. If you're interested, pm me. I'll send you in the right direction. I can't post the link because this website doesn't allow us to. (v - 6 - p black market)
