coilovers???

coilovers???

I dont know much about this so help me out, what are coilovers??Can i use them with my stock shocks?struts? This guy just sold me some brand new dropzone coilovers for 40bucks, i took them becasue i know they go for like 100+. Can someone guide me to dropping my cl?? thanks.

yes you can use them on your stock struts, however, if you slam it to the ground, the ride will be very shitty.

im only thinking about 1 1/2 drop or 2. what do you recomend?? lower in the front right??

I suggest you just get some a prokit if that is all the drop you want... plus those are not real coilovers... just some crap spring on that has an adjustible setting.

a real coilover is spring and strut combo that way the compression rate of the strut is matched to the spring compression rate and all of that stuff...

however low you drop your car with those... ur going to get a pretty shitty ride. and if you go 2" you might end up needing a camber kit.

I already got them so i guess im gonna have to stick with them for a while.Im going to have them installed this weekend, i'll keep an update.

might want to save the money that the install is going to cost you... sell those for 40 bucks or 50 bucks... that gives you around 120-150 bucks and then save 2 more and buy yourself some neuspeed sport spings for that 2" drop or buy the eibach prokit... ull be much happier with ride and you won't be wasting money when you find out those coilovers really aren't worth putting on the car and have to redo the suspension anyway.
